MGB V8 parts
This may not be of specific interest to standard MGB owners, however, due to a change in plans I have for disposal a number of new and secondhand V8 parts which I wish to sell for very reasonable prices. The new parts are 3.9 conversion kit, Holley Carb c/w Offenhauser Dual Port Inlet Manifold, gask...

Re: eNewsletter from the MGB Register
Thanks Peter, unfortunately I've tried what you suggest. Other pictures are being successfully received via email e.g Motor Sport Mag. and Classic & Sports Car etc. Can't understand why it is only blocking the MGB newsletter email. Funny things computers!

Re: eNewsletter from the MGB Register
Hi John, Not sure if I'm missing something here, but the eNewsletter I'm getting has no picture, just a large white space and the content is only a few words on that one page. Nothing like the previous newsletters, or is this it?

Re: Advice on roadside jack sought please.
Machine Mart supply an aluminium trolley jack which is ideal as it is light and low enough to go under a B. Part number is CTJ1250AB, cost is £101.99 plus £4.99 carriage. I removed the two carrying handles from mine which leaves plenty of room next to the spare wheel.

Re: Anybody using sigle piece rear springs?
I have fitted parabolic springs to my 1966 BGT which had standard, but new, lever arm dampers. The ride was very bouncy so I uprated the lever arms with 25% valves. This has provided a much better, controlled ride and the road holding is very good. Ideally parabolic springs should be fitted along wi...

Sebring MGB GT Project For Sale
Due to a very recent bereavement, this Sebring replica MGB GT is up for sale. I have inspected the shell which is a 'rubber bumper' spec. one and comes with the flared Sebring wings front and rear. There is also a Sebring rear valence fitted. The shell seems to be sound with solid floors, inner and ...

Re: Hello from West Cornwall...
Welcome to the MGB Forum Jim. It's good to see a recessed grill MGB, so many have had their original grills replaced by the all chrome version, which I think is a pity. Even rarer is its original colour of Bedouin, although I must say it looks splendid in Old English White. My mark one BGT was purch...

Re: buy and fit sun roof
Hi Derek, Just noticed your posting about supplying/fitting a sunroof to a BGT. It is getting difficult to find companies to do this now days. There is only one company that I would recommend and they are located down here in the South East. Peter harvey Sunroofs, 1, Stonar Gardens, Sandwich, Kent, ...

Defending the 'ubiquitous' MGB.
There seems to be an worrying increase in knocking and belittling our beloved MGB's, particularly the GT version. The latest insult comes from Classic Car Weekly (issue dated 17th February) where they compare the MGB GT with the Triumph TR7. In response to this article a star letter 'You picked the ...
