Hi Charles
Interested to read about your original hood repair as mine needs new windows (and some TLC) which are welded. Where are they located and do they repair the welded windows ?
Many thanks

Hi Dave,
PJM Motors may be a bit far for you as they are in Market Drayton in Shropshire post code TF9 3SN. However, there is no harm in giving them a call to see what is possible. (Yvonne on 0163 652873). When i had my original 1980 hood repaired , they took the hood off the frame on the car , restitched the seams at the bottom of the back window where they sit on the car ( on one of their sowing machines),replaced the front seal, which sits on the front windscreen frame & replaced a few of the press button fixings. The hood was put back on the car & glued back to the frame above the back window - all while i waited within a couple of hours! They could have sold me a new one, but they said my original hood was perfectly fine to repair.
(They do have a web site & can indeed supply new if required).
Cheers, Charles
