Re: 67 Gt floor panel.

Hello Graham and thank's for the reply. Having researched this quite thoroughly, it would appear that one does not have a choice as there are no alternatives to the ' HZA415P (Rimmer Brothers) or MB21 L/R (Everyone else), and these would appear to be the same panel both being made by 'Steel craft'. ...

67 Gt floor panel.

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me please. I have a March 67 Gt, which require a N/s Floor panel. It is possible to make a repair, it's at the rear where they often go, but I'd prefer to replace the whole thing to save having to take everything out again when I find another hole, My problem is th...

Kenlowe fan manual override switch, B gt

Hello, and best wishes to you all during this difficult time. I have a 67 B gt fitted with a Kenlowe fan. I wish to add a manual override switch to the system, and despite have searched 'YouTube' etc, have failed to find a diagram that suits. I have added a standard four pin relay to the circuit, an...

Re: Gaz dampers.

Hello Vic apologies for the tardy reply, I must admit I didn't see it straight away. I think the gaz set up should be ok for parabolics as they are often sold as a set, though of course, that doesn't mean it's right !. I have since spoken to an MG specialist, who suggested I try them at the next har...

Re: GT tailgate lamp

Thanks Tom. I would think, as you say, that mine will only need the one pair of wires, and earth through the attachment screw to the body, as it never had the door switch. I'm always wary of entering into the unknown world of car electrics as it's so easy to blow things up !!
All the best

GT tailgate lamp

Hello, my car is a 67 so did not have this lamp from new. I have purchased the complete lamp, and would like some advice on how to wire it in please. I presume the later offside 'C' pillar wires, which on later models powered it, aren't there, so I shall be using new wire and finding an existing pow...

Re: Gaz dampers.

Thanks for the reply Vic. Possibly but it's more of a chatter than a squeak, the same noise as the old ones, and that was worn internals. Given that these are less than a year old I hope you're right.

Gaz dampers.

Hello has anyone had a problem with these items on a 'parabolic' set up. They were already fitted to my GT, from purchase, and I was told that the rattling from the rear was the worn Gaz dampers, not a knock, a squeak/rattler like chattering. Had new set fitted six months ago, all quiet to begin wit...
