Thanks so much folks! Just read your replies and rotated 180 degrees. Can’t say why it wouldn’t go in before as I hadn’t rotated while it was out! But, rotated and it slid right on in! Great. Thanks again for your swift help ...problem sorted. Till the next one eh! !

Hi. I have a 1975 MGB GT, early rubber bumper. The doors are pretty shot through with rust. When looking for replacements, are there any differences between the pre-1975 chrome bumper and the later rubber bumper versions of door. Will the early ones fit the later ones basically? Cheers. Garry.
