No fuel gauge?

Hello everyone. I've just joined the mgb car club and wanted to know if anyone here has had problems with the fuel gauge.. Ive replaced the fuel sender and the voltage stabilizer and whilst it worked for a little while it stopped working now and is really annoying. Does anyone how easy it is to remove the speed ommetter
