Source for wiring

Post by Not_Anumber »

Can anyone recommend a source for buying proper automotive wire please. Somewhere that will supply the various combinations of stripe and main colour wires in different current capacities ?

I would try https://www.autosparks.co.uk/electrical ... bles?cat=9 . They make up complete wiring harnesses for most classic cars and have ALL the correct cables with tracer colours. If you buy a harness from most of the MG spares suppliers it will be made by Autosparks. I think other suppliers only keep a few types.

Ah thanks. I had already ordered from Autoelectric supplies before i saw the 2nd recommendation. The section of loom I am making up will be fully covered so I can work with the limited range of colours available for this.

I will bear Autosparks in mind for the next wiring job as it will be an advantage to match the existing wire colour combinations.
