My polished-bumper mounting kit includes two bolts with mushroom-heads significantly larger than the others.
The kit has no instructions, and looking at photographs online has been inconclusive.
Does anyone have views on exactly where they should be fitted?

Re: Bumper mounting bolts
I see the Rimmers drawings are showing the exact same item, Bolt - 554700K, for all six mountings, two on the rear bumper, and four on the front.

Allan - from memory, all the bolts should be the same size. I can't go and check at the moment, sorry

Re: Bumper mounting bolts
Hi Allan
I currently have the rear bumper removed from my 74B curtesy of White van man who reversed into it!! The bumper and bolts are all original (I’ve owned the car 43 years). Checking the chrome bolts, they are all the same size. I think you are suffering from the increasing problem with quality/fit of repro parts. The current repro chrome bumpers are a good example. Made of much thinner gauge steel and incorrect profile at the ends.

Re: Bumper mounting bolts
Thanks, everyone.
My Harringtons stainless steel bumpers are on the car, using the same bolts throughout.
In my view, they're a better fit than the o/e chrome bumpers I've taken off.
