We are saddened to announce the death of Roger Cooper after a short illness.
Roger had been President of the MGB Register since early 2021 which was felt a fitting honour as he had worked tirelessly for the good of the Register for many years. He was a member of the original Register committee when it was formed back in 1979 and held the position of Treasurer for many
years. He was very much a working President, still very active on the committee and planning next year’s Spring Run.

Roger was well known in the club and with his wife Joan attended many events over the years in his distinctive citron MGB GT which he had owned for well over 40 years. Being involved with the club for so long he had a wealth of knowledge and was able to give good advice, which gained him much
respect. He was a quiet man but had a good sense of humour and was always there to support and lend a hand if needed.

He will be much missed by all his friends in the Register. Our deepest condolences go to Joan and family.

A full obituary will be published in Safety fast and the Register eNewsletter.
