Queen Elizabeth II

Post by Vic Butler »

The longest reigning monarch this country has ever had. She's always been there for her subjects through thick and thin.
May she rest in peace. She will be remembered for her unerring devotion to her country and its people.

She will be very sadly missed. There will never be another one like her - devotion to the job all her life despite many challenges.
I had the privilege of meeting her and chatting to her many years ago - lovely lady and very knowledgeable

I never had the privilege of speaking to her but at the CLA Game Fair at Stratfield Saye north of Basingstoke in 1989. I had a very good view of her and Prince Philip on one of their informal walkabouts.

This picture has appeared on the MGB Register Facebook page in recent days.

It might be a photoshop, or an MGB photobombing an informal picture. It is nice all the same.
