How to Edit post

I have made a post in parts for sale but I just cannot see an edit option - can anyone assist pls?
when I posted this thread, there was an edit option.

Hi Graham,
I cannot see any reason why you cannot edit the post.

But - once I am logged in, I have super powers and can edit everything.

I will set up a dummy account to see if I can replicate it

Hi Graham,

OK I have created a test account and it works fine.

You must be logged in and visit the post

Your screen should look like this - with the pencil - that is the edit tool

I hope this helps - maybe you were not logged in.
