What are these?

When I acquired my roadster for restoration it came with a brand new vinyl soft top which I hope to fit soon (if the weather ever warms up! I'm sitting here with a thick fleece on).

When I unpacked it I found these vinyl pieces and although I have had MGBs for decades, I have no idea what they are for. Anyone know?

Hi Mike,
Are the triangular pieces where the vinyl has been cut to put in the "side windows" of the hood ?
No idea what the rectangular piece is , unless the intention was to supply you with the offcuts when the hood was created to provide you with some spare material for patches if required in the future.
Presumably this excess material would all be scrap otherwise.

Are the triangular parts the same sizeish as the rear side windows.

It looks like you might have all the fabric cut out to make the shapes of the add on pieces. Straps maybe.
