This weekend fitted a new radiator and a Kenlowe puller fan + thermostatic controller and flushed water jacket thoroughly. I left the original pusher fan in position and added a manual overide instead of the Otter switch so that can be switched on too if necessary. The old radiator looked OK in situ but once out of the car it was obviously well past its best before date. I reinstalled the existing thermostat (84 deg) but have a 74 degree one to install should there be any sign of getting too warm in the summer. On a long run today temp gauge noticeably lower than before. Anticipate car will be now be able to cope with any ambient temperature between Artic and mid-Sahara. Sorted. Roll on summer! Many thanks Forumeers
