Sebring Rep Project

Hello all,
I've just joined the forum, as, having just finished an old 911 project, looking to tick off another 'bucket list' project, a GT Sebring Rep.
Welded up plenty of old Italian 'scrap' in the past, so bodywork won't be a problem (though fully understand that the better the donor, the easier the job), and having searched t'internet, panels & parts certainly aren't a problem!
Is there any particular year that would be best suited?, and am I better avoiding later cars for this reason (rubber bumper models).
I'm aiming to be period correct looking, though not anal on details or mechanicals.
