Busy day today - engine back in after sorting gearbox selector problem and engine oil leak. More pics on my blog at https://mymgbinfo.wordpress.com/2019/03 ... ck-in-car/
Now to look forward to a lot of tidying up to get it back on the road.

Re: engine back in
.....and it works and drives well after starting it up yesterday. Replaced all the selectors in the gearbox and gear change feels good. A PO had a stint of racing the car. Also think i found the source of the oil leak being the dried up, hardened and shrunk cork main bearing to sump seals - but replaced all the gaskets and seals just in case 🤞.
Looking forward to some driving this year.
