Windscreen Wiper arms

Can anyone please tell me what the width of the wiper arms should be on a UK 1965 MGB Roadster? The ones on my car are 7.2 mm, which is making it difficult to find wiper blades that fit. I recently bought a pair from eBay, advertised as suitable for 7mm arms, but in fact the slot where the wiper arm should fit is only 6.4mm. Previously I have always replaced only the rubber insert, but no-one seems to offer these any more, just the complete blade including stainless steel backing. Tanks in anticipation.

For years I just changed the rubber wiper blades every summer, endured a smeared near-opaque windscreen whenever it rained, and assumed the MGB wiper system wasn't up to the job. Then for reasons I can't remember I changed the complete wiper fittings. What a difference! Try one of the specialist suppliers instead of eBay. How did you go about ordering from that seller Mike ? At first sight their manufacturer list doesnt include MG or Rover

Once on the site Clicked "rubber for windscreen wiper blades". It gives you the profile sizes so you can check if these will fit your existing blades.
