Please could somebody let me know the equivalent modern tyre to fit to my 1974 MGBGT fitted with normal rostyle wheels. Are inner tubes needed

185/70 x 14 is a good tyre size because it hardly affects the speedo reading at all. The speedo error is less than 1% over-read.

I agree with Mike re 185 / 70 X 14 - my speedo is virtually spot on at 70 MPH - much , much closer than my current daily driver.
