Hi a bit late but i use SPEEDY SPANNERS in Stapleford. The guys who run it are classic car nuts.

Has anyone any tips on diy electroplating. Thinking of giving it a go with zinc plating and poss chromate plating. Seems straight forward but i believe the secret is in the prep - getting the parts really clean. Planning on doing door latches, boot latches, engine bits, various brackets, fittings et...

Anyone any ideas how to safely stretch a tonneau cover. Bought one recently that had been in storage many years for my mgb and obviously shrunk a good inch poss 2"!!
Thinking i might have to wait for a hot sunny day!

Spec sheet doesn't actually say how much zinc other than confirmed that it contains sufficient?
