Re: New Spark plugs
Hi John I use NGK BP6ES in my B roadster. If you search on ebay for 'NGK Spark Plugs' you will find lots of people selling them for around £6.80 for a set of 4 - cheaper than Halfords. Or try Europarts where they are currently £1.44 each, with free delivery. Note that BPR6ES has a resistor built int...

Re: What did you do with your MG over the weekend.
Last weekend I took the offside front wing off to replace it. To be fair, it has taken a bit longer than last weekend to get the windscreen off and the bolts inside the car that hold the rear of the wing on! The nearside wing is fine, so that was obviously replaced when the body was restored some ye...

Re: Bonnet-sited number plate
This is really a complicated subject, made more so by the legislative documents being re-written and the wording subtly changed as a result. You will stick the number plate on the bonnet at your own risk! So make of my thoughts below what you will, but I am not an expert and this is a summary of my ...

This could be easily spot welded into place and dressed for priming before the skin is fitted. It can be done wit...

Re: Body tags/decals
Hi Jim, From your description it is the body number tag. This seems it may have been attached in different places depending on year and model, but where yours was is where this plate is attached on my car. It is a number that starts with MGB, and on my car it is the same as the Body Number on the He...
