Re: Fuel Gauge
Moss have them in stock for £34. http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/sender-unit-fuel-tank-jaeger-gauge-bha4292.html As for any other problems with the negative earth conversion, why not revert to positive earth? It keeps it original and you can buy a positive earth alternator that looks like a dynamo now ...

Re: Fuel Gauge
Donald, I'm intrigued.
How did you swop fuel tanks when the early strap on and later bolt on types are totally different?

Re: Defending the 'ubiquitous' MGB.
May be this explains why the value of MGBs is so low when every other classic has rocketed in recent years?

Re: replacement front anti roll bar
Thanks Peter.
I thought that poly bushes would be more suitable for racing.
Perhaps standard V8 will be better for the uneven, potholed roads we now have to put up with?

Re: replacement front anti roll bar
Peter, I know I'm resurrecting an old thread here but do you run with V8 wishbone bushes or poly?
Which do you recommend for normal use...
Also, as a point of interest, my 1962 car has an anti roll bar and I believe it was fitted from new as an option.
Cheers,
Adrian

Re: new member with 1967 roadster
This picture shows the 4 synchromesh gearbox tunnel.
Note the shape of the gaiter and escutcheon. They are now round and not oval.
You can compare the different tunnel shape particularly on the bottom of the speaker facia.

Re: new member with 1967 roadster
Hi Neil.
Here is a picture of a 3 synchromesh tunnel with overdrive.
The 3 sync gaiter and escutcheon are oval in shape.
If this car was non overdrive, the gaiter would be reversed and the gearstick would be cranked towards the rear.

Re: new member with 1967 roadster
Hi Neil.
It depends on whether your car has a 3 syncro or 4 syncro floor pan and you have a 3 syncro or 4 syncro gearbox!
The gearboxes, floors and gearbox tunnels are completely different and to make things more interesting, I think 1967 was the changeover year.
