Telescopic shock absorbers must be used with parabolic springs. If the springs are known to be of a good quality then there should be no problem. MGB Adjustable Rear Lever Arm Shock Absorbers

I have a pair of Armstrong adjustable rear lever arm shock absorbers for an MGB.
Does anyone know where I can get them reconditioned?

Rev counter is electronic and works off the ignition. Is the cable properly connected at both ends? It can easily get disconnected from the speedometer when putting the instrument back.

Evening Mark. Disconnect the lead from the sender located on the petrol tank behind the right hand rear wheel , switch on the ignition and hold the lead against a metal surface. Make sure there is a good connection and get someone to see if the gauge reads full. If it does the wiring and gauge are O...

Evening Mark.
Try the old trick of shorting the connector to the sender on the tank to earth. The gauge should read full. If not there is a wiring problem. I presume the gauge is compatible with the sender.
