Hi Stephen, Welcome to the forum. I can make some suggestions on the alternator & wiper situation. The ignition light stays on when there is not equal voltage each side of the warning light. A loose / worn belt may cause this which is easily checked. After that check all the electrical connectio...

Whilst I agree with the previous post the wiring diagrams are available on line which are coloured.You can download them & blow them up to make them easier to follow.The late UK market 1978 Haynes or Bentley are pretty good although the North American/US one correctly shows the brake fluid press...

I too would like to thank Roger for all the time & effort that must have gone into preparing the route plan from Hatton. A wonderful day out with the bonus that there was no rain during the trip & hence no need to dry off the car when returning home!!!
