Re: Drilled and slotted brake disks

Agree with Ian the brakes are normally good for energetic driving. A cheaper option would be to fit air ducts like the Sebring ducts to direct more air to the brakes.

Re: Kenlowe fan manual override switch, B gt

Ignore the comment Davis Craig but this is the manual switch on the Davis Craig unit likewise creating the earth connection energising the relay ...

Re: Brake Servo = Better Brakes?

Tom don’t think you are really missing anything. If at the 100Ib pressure without servo you can lock up the wheels, then with the servo you would apply less leg pressure. Have tried mine with and without the servo and it doesn’t make a massive difference just less leg pressure for old things like me...

Had previously discussed this with Peter Burgess and his advi...

Re: Distributors

Hi All, even more, confusion. Been following your comments. there has been a selection of different distributor setups for the 1800 engine to meet a variety of emission requirements especially those dictated by the US. One thing to remember the cars are 40+ years old and though the distributor has t...

Re: "classic" oil - is it?

Just remembered Martin Williamson, on MGOC site, gave an explanation of oils. Sorry its a bit long winded. Right, clearances, that is the issue of the viscosity and if a synthetic and a mineral have the same viscosity grade then that argument is out the window. Whilst the molecular structures of min...
