What about the electric window kit fitted to the MGR V8? - Moss sells the full kit.

It might be worth checking if the leak stops with your heater control knob in different positions - hot, warm and cold to see if it stops but with the distributor below the valve you don't want that getting wet s...

I recommend using a traditional normal copper washer rather than the crush type - I bought a new sump plug with one of these crush washers only for it to start leaking a short time after! - the size is 12mm as the other posters say.
