Sorry Geoff if this comment was already mentioned in a previous post.
Since 5 years I use Wynns Super Charge every oil change in my MGB from 1971. This manages and preserves the viscosity of the oil.
It is a cheap and accurate way to get the mineral oil 20W50 lasting for the whole year.

Wynn's Super Charge.
Anyone who has experience in using this product (additive to engine oil to improve viscosity and running of engine)? It certainly has good reviews especially in old cars, but I was wondering if it is popular in MG ranks.

history of car.
Since a few years I am trying to get information about the first UK registration number and/or first owner of my MGB (1971), which I imported in Belgium in September 2007. DVLA and other authorities cannot or will not give me the information. Any other information about the car is more than welcome....

Re: Replica tax discs
This initiave is great! I own a MGB from 1971, imported in Belgium from Holland in 2007 but still originally a RHD.
I agree it is a folly but nevertheless , having a tax disc from that period on the windscreen gives the vehicle an extra identity.
Just looking now for a holder....
