Re: Fresh air flap
Even though I have a roadster , I do use the air flap on very warm days to minimise heat in the cabin, particularly if I have been in a queue of traffic!

Re: Raising suspension.
Raising height at the rear would also necessitate the RB longer drop links if original lever style shocs retained.

Re: Fitting MGB GT Seats
I think what Ian means is effectively using bolts of the same size, cut off the heads & insert them in the floor threaded holes , place the wooden slats with the spacers over the top. That will then hold everything in place. Then put the seat in & with it right forward or back remove the exp...

Per Clausager the GT badge at the top of the rear panel was introduced in early 1976 to hide the panel joint when it
ceased to be leaded.

Re: Headlamp relays
If you have a later RB car( with the forward radiator positioning) you do have an issue as to where to place the "transfer box" for each LED BULB behind the grill or behind the radiator supports.. it was suggested to me that you could include this within the headlight bowl but found this t...

Hi Mike,
I agree with your comments - never mind Moss's price currently at £286.70 , when i too rarely need to stretch across to adjust the passenger window!

Charles

Re: Leather trim
Hi Geoff, Clausager says that Leather was discontinued from the 1970 model year , with leather upholstery replaced by Ambla, which for the first year was offered only in black , thereafter additionally in Autumn leaf .In 1972 the black trim was replaced by Navy (a very dark blue) & GT models had...

Re: Suddenly not running right.
As Vic suggests , (and also an easy one to do) it would be worth removing the dash pot covers & removing & cleaning both valve pistons & springs with fresh petrol or carb cleaner & then doing the "upside down test" to see if both fall back into the covers (without the sprin...
