Lowering blocks

Looking to lower my RB and have purchased the springs and lower blocks plus some poly spring pads. However I’m not sure about the best way to attach the blocks at the rear as have a couple of conflicting approaches when doing a search. Just exacted to get some views..have attached a pic with the two approaches I think it’s the one with the blue pads looks best..

Stephen, I think I would favour the red pads version, but it may not make very much of a difference. The alloy block and the axle would then act as one, and the pad would cushion the spring as designed. One main thing to be aware of is that this separation of spring and axle can increase "spring wind-up" on acceleration on rapid starts. Tramp bars are one solution to this issue.
