Doesn't look like I will get to either of these shows - Brooklands New Years day or Bicester on 4th Jan - my carbs are flooding again, and the car is off the road until I can get it back to Summit MG on 5th/6th Jan!!

So disappointed!

It was cold and foggy but a gret turnout of all makes of cars and motorcycles. This is my MGB parked next to Tom Purves TR3

I agree John, it was a tremendous event.
There was plenty to see in the hangars and workshops, but the substantial numbers of visitors cars were equally impressive.

The organisation of the event was really effective and the hospitality facilities more than adequate. I just hope this approach is maintained as the site is developed and that the "heritage" emphasis is maintained.

It was great to learn that "Bicester Heritage" has linked up with MGCC to sponsor apprenticeships for the restoration of pre and post war vehicles.

Its a pity the weather was freezing and foggy preventing the classic and vintage aircraft from flying-in to the event. But the small static display on the flying field provided some compensation.

Looking forward to the next event, scheduled for Sunday 26th April 2015.

Looked like a good event - hopefully I'll be at the next event in April.
