Last night I was watching an episode of Public Eye from 1974, and an MG roadster with the above number was driven by one of the characters.
I checked the registration number on the DVLA site and it shows that the car is taxed to the end of May 2019.
Is it known to the Register?

Hi Vic, unfortunately it's not on the Register. We put a request in our Newsletter recently, but there has been no reply.
