MGF Wheels on a BGT ?

I have the opportunity ( at a good price ) to buy a set of 15" MGF 8-spoke Minilite alloys with good tyres - two 215/55 and two 205/55 . Would they fit on my 1971 BGT which is on standard Rostyles on 165/80 -14 tyres........... Also , how would they affect the ride / clearances etc. ? Any advice would be welcome .
