MGB Radiator

The radiator on my MGB is coming to the end of its useful life. I'd rather get it re-cored than buy a new one. Can anyone recommend a radiator repairer? I live in North West London.

Evening Andrew.
A recore will probably be about the same cost as a new radiator but you will have your own one back and not risk getting an inferior new one.
However, make sure the company is reputable and won't be ripping you off.

A couple of years ago I had the same problem for my 65 roadster.

Ordered a new one didn't fit the shroud - the holes just did not line up and it did not have the all important drain tap.

Mine went to Colchester Radiators in surprise surprise Colchester. The recore cost about the same as new one but it fitted!

I would suggest that in North West / West London there are other local radiator specialists (see what google suggest) and for cost use the price of a new one as a guide.
