Very nice to see the progress being made on the Jean Denton MGB which was attracting a lot of interest. I had not been to the NEC Classic Car Show for probably sixteen years, so I was impressed by the sheer scale and content which was much bigger than I remember.
It was also good to meet Adam Sloman and Ian Quarrington, the new General Manager and Chairman respectively of the MGCC. Ant Anstead, from the programme 'For the love of cars,' did a stirling job of cutting and handing out the 85th Birthday cake whilst responding to many humorous comments-what a star! Fantastic to see so much interest in the MGCC.
