Hard decision

Post by Steven collins »

As the title says I have come to the very hard decision to put up for sale my 1966 B roadster which I have owned over 15 years.
Prior to me putting it up for sale on the usual sites if anyone is interested or knows anyone in the club who is looking for a very tidy and good running B I thought I would mention it here first, engine rebuilt over lockdown and done less than 1000 miles since.
Currently not mot’d as one not required. Car in very good condition and a host of spares to be sold with it.

Nice car.

Have you thought how much you will put it up for on the usual general channels and how much less it could be offered to existing enthusiasts through the forum ?

Yes I have, hence why putting feelers out on here first, it has a £17500 agreed value with the insurance company but would offer a discounted price to forum/enthusiast members prior to selling through the usual sites if no takers.
Would rather it went to someone who would cherish the car and not to someone who just wants to sell it on for profit.

It would be worth you putting the word around the clubs, MGOC and MGCC as they would have substantially greater catchment reach than this forum
