We do love them, don’t we? Sometimes they show us that they love us back - my talented wife made me a really cool MG shirt for Christmas this year, and has just finished this tool roll in oilskin (that’s waxed cotton for those of you who don’t speak “old”.
It’s big enough for the dozen A/F spanner’s I’ve popped in, with pockets-a-plenty for electrical tape, pliers, screwdrivers, fuses, cable ties and all sorts of other requisites I feel I may need for a successful jaunt if/when the sun ever comes back out again.
Being oilskin, all of the tools will receive a slight coating of wax, which should help protect them against the damp, and the fabric is going to age wonderfully, with every crease telling the tale of another breakdown.

Im one of the lucky ones also
My wife runs a small hobby shop doing baby quilts etc
Took some asking but she made some great bits for our GT,s
Back seat cover(reat shelf cover)
And load area covers for our GT,s
Made quite a few bits for local friends, including tailered dog beds for one mgb of her friends with her mgb
If you like ,you can always ask Mikki if you see her out and about at shows
