Hi all, Just joined today. Last time I had a Mgb was 1987 when I was 21 (Rto 739n).
I have just purchased a project which requires a fair amount of work. I am looking forward to sorting this car out and putting it back on the road where it belongs.

Re: Just Joined , Hello.
Good Morning
I have recently acquired 5 ltrs of Castrol XL30 Classic oil and 5 ltrs of Castrol GTX 15/50 oil. Can anyone advise whether either or both of these oils is suitable for my MGB?
Cheers
Edward

Hi Edward,
I'm pretty sure you should use Mineral 20/50 in the engine and gearbox.

Paul
