HS6 carbs -removing needles
A young friend has asked me to assist with the re-build of a pair of HS6 carbs that he has. On examining the needles they seem to be held in place by something other than the locking screw, and also seem to be spring loaded. I've not come across this before as my cars are a 58 A and 64 B. Any suggestions on how they come apart please?

Re: HS6 carbs -removing needles
These sound like the usual "biased" or spring loaded needles. The ones on my 72 BGT just pull out after removing the screw.
