Ever so loosely related to the subject, I've just replaced my wipers and arms, and was surprised to find the nut holding the d/s wiper to the body wasn't even finger-tight, meaning it wasn't compressing the rubber seal between wiper and body, meaning the seal wasn't water tight, meaning I think I know where the rain in the footwell has been getting in.
