According to an App called Vehicle Smart the MOT ran out in August last year 2018, test number 7050 8688 3933.
The advisory report showed various corrosion points, plus suspension deteriorated badly.
I would suggest the owner may still have the MGB and has not re MOTD it.

The Heritage body MGB which I ordered from CCHL in April 2017 has not arrived yet, but I have photos which indicate it might be soon. Mazda 5 speed box/clutch , power steering, Ivor Searle Stage 2 engine, Dunlop c/d type alloy wheels. I think it will be a great car but a bit mad to spend 33K.

It does sound as though it will be a fantastic B to own and drive.
A large sum of money to commit but then it will be a new car and a classic in one. Something you could use everyday if you wished and it will always put a smile on your face.

Hi - I am the owner of the MG (FGN 329J) you speak of. I would be very interested in copies of original build sheet and any other history if possible.
Many thanks
