Great thanks. Yes there was some oil but not much not sure if that means oil levels are low.

When you say that you don’t need to change the stabiliser but if I’m changing them all then might as well what do you mean by electronic one?

The standard type works on a bi metallic strip to keep the voltage at a steady 10 volts which is somewhat dated now. Electronic ones use a circuit with no moving parts and are much more reliable just like electronic flasher relays which both my vehicles have.
There should be a sealing washer where the oil pipe screws into the gauge.
