Hi, new member here, hello! I have just acquired a 1979 MGB roadster which has been stored for many years. The engine appears to be a replacement unit with engine number DBL230 108314 fitted in February 1987 by Mobile Auto Services in Pershore Worcs. I have a warranty booklet by Delta Remanufactured Engines, but I can find no other technical info about this engine, nor can I find anything about Delta online. It has 1800 cast into the front left side of the block.
Can anyone provide any info on this engine please?
