Will rubber bumper mgb GT headlining fit a Mk1
Hi, I have a 67 Mk1 B GT which has had the headling removed. i was offered a second hand headline and side panels from a rubber bumper model and wanted to know if this would fit as the mk1 seems to have the edgeing as part of the metal frame with just a plastic type wrap.

Hi David,
The good news is that Moss only list one headlining kit (including the mouldings around the edges) in their catalogue. There are 3 trim options though, grey vinyl, grey fabric and tan fabric. They are quite expensive, ranging from £315 for grey cloth to £419 for vinyl and tan cloth. It is likely that during production items such as the fixing clips changed slightly, but again Moss only list one type of retaining clip and seat.
So if you are not fussy about originality, and the secondhand one you have been offered is cheap enough, then give it a go!
