Hi, My SU fuel pumps playing up, so am on the verge of pulling it, only been in service for 25 years, so done well.
Has anyone had any experience with the Hardi pumps? as have heard the the new SU pumps made now are a bit naff. Hardi seem to be of high German quality, but look simile to the SU and have the ticking which I'm used to but more reliable solid state electronics...

I've had an electronic SU pump on my car for the past 10 years, replacing as a precaution before going abroad, a 40 year old SU pump. "Ticks" as well as the old points pump did and no problems whatsoever.

Re: SU or Hardi fuel pump
Hi Dave,
I´m using the Hardi pumps on my roadster for 8 years and on my GT V8 for 6 years with no problems. They have a wonderful ticking like the SU.
