A tip for refitting the seat. Get hold of four extra bolts of a reasonable length. Cut their heads off. Screw them into the seat fixing holes. Place seat over the headless bolts, then remove them one by one putting the correct bolts in their place. Makes it much easier.

I agree Vic, but isn't it also to do with LED bulbs being polarity specific? With the engine off the bulb is lit from the battery, earthing through the alternator. Once the engine starts and the alternator starts charging, the polarity reverses because the alternator produces more volts than the bat...
