Just Joined , Hello.
Hi all, Just joined today. Last time I had a Mgb was 1987 when I was 21 (Rto 739n).
I have just purchased a project which requires a fair amount of work. I am looking forward to sorting this car out and putting it back on the road where it belongs.

Sounds like the coil breaking down under load.
