Trip reset for speedo

Does anyone know where the trip reset button is located on a late B on the speedo?I’ve looked for mine and can’t find it anywhere..I assume it does have one?

Ok thanks. My B is coming up for an mot in the next couple of weeks so I assume safer to replace the less for that? Must admit not heard of this being a fail

Sourced some led bulbs and hooked them up. I must say what a difference to the headlights and indicators. I also replaced out all the gauge bulbs and I now can see what speed I’m doing at night!! When you say that you don’t need to change the stabiliser but if I’m changing them all then might as well what do you mean by electronic one?

Great thanks. Yes there was some oil but not much not sure if that means oil levels are low.

hi Problem with the tube going into the gauge can see it’s too loose..have tightened it up and seems to work for now. Have been looking at new gauges and they say that you need new voltage stabiliser, oil gauge parts (will get a new tube) but surely don’t need all the rest as they should be ok to us...

Needing to replace an oil gauge. I can see that you can get two types electrical or mechanical - what’s the difference and what is standard for an 81 b?

Thanks have relocated to where yours is. Though have a problem the pressure coming out is much less than before more of a dribble. Have cleared the tube a few times as looked like there was air trapped and also have checked the connection to the pump motor. Connection looked a little loose..could it...
